XIII Religious Freedom Awards Spain 2026

Celebrating those who build a freer, fairer and more inclusive society

Freedom of religion or belief is one of the fundamental human rights. It protects every person’s freedom to believe, to change their religion or convictions, to profess none, to express their beliefs and to live in accordance with them, always with respect for the rights of others.

With the Religious Freedom Awards Spain, we want to publicly recognise those people, institutions and organisations whose work and commitment make an exemplary contribution to promoting religious freedom, dialogue, peaceful coexistence, equal rights and respect for the dignity of all people.

We invite you to join us for the XIII edition of these awards, an evening bringing together representatives of public institutions, religious leaders, members of civil society, academics, diplomats and people committed to the defence of human rights.

It will be a unique opportunity to discover inspiring initiatives, share experiences and strengthen the bonds between those working for a society where diversity of beliefs is understood as a richness and not as a reason for division.
