In a plural society, knowing one another is the best vaccine against prejudice. Our Interreligious Dialogue programme promotes mutual respect between people and communities of different beliefs — and of none — as a path to social cohesion and the defence of freedom of religion and conscience.
We organise open meetings, conferences and publications where representatives of different traditions share their views on the great themes that unite us: the dignity of the person, peace, solidarity, care for others. We do not ask anyone to give up what they believe; we want us all to learn to live together better while remaining who we are.
The programme also takes part in European civil society forums and cooperates with public and private institutions working for religious freedom, contributing years of field experience in one of Madrid’s most diverse neighbourhoods.
