The best way to fight drugs is to get there before they do. Drug-Free World is our prevention programme: objective, truthful, evidence-based information about what drugs are and the real harm they cause, so that young people and families can make free, informed decisions, far from myths and peer pressure.
We run workshops in schools, talks for mothers and fathers, and awareness campaigns with our own materials that have already reached hundreds of communities. We do not scare people: we inform them. Experience shows that when someone truly knows what a substance does to their body and their life, the vast majority decide for themselves to stay away from it.
The programme is coordinated with associations and volunteers across Spain and is part of our prevention and community health work, with special attention to the most vulnerable environments.
